Zeynep "Z" Ekemen is the principal of Z Realty Group, a commercial real estate firm in northern New Jersey that was founded in 2009. A recognized leader and innovative entrepreneur, "Z" has an impressive track record in both commercial real estate and antimicrobial solutions. Under her leadership, Z Realty Group has been recognized twice as CoStar Power Broker of the Year, celebrating the industry's top professionals.

In 2018, "Z" leveraged her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation to create Silver Defender, a pioneering company that develops adhesive films with built-in antimicrobial protection. These films, designed to enhance cleanliness and safety in various environments, have been installed globally, including in NFL and MLB facilities and the World Trade Center buildings. Despite launching just before the worldwide lockdown in 2020, Silver Defender quickly gained traction and won the prestigious ISSA Award the same year.

"Z"'s academic background includes an MBA in Accounting from Pace University's Lubin School of Business. Her firm specializes in ground-up national daycare development.
